OUTdoor for INclusion – Training Kick-off in Vienna, 30.3.25
The OUTdoor for INclusion (Out4In) project, an Erasmus+ initiative, focuses on promoting diversity and inclusion through enriching outdoor activities like hiking and nature experiences. Its primary goal is to provide an inclusive environment where migrants can discover the benefits of outdoor activities, foster connections with nature, and engage in meaningful cultural exchanges. Additionally, the project empowers refugee and migrant women by helping them develop vital skills such as language proficiency, digital literacy, and environmental awareness. By increasing access to educational and outdoor activities, the initiative also creates opportunities for growth, encourages personal development, and strengthens community integration.
Kick-off of the Out4In training in Vienna
The partner organizations from Finland, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Serbia are organizing outdoor activities in their countries to create shared experiences in nature through targeted training, thus overcoming barriers. In Vienna, the kick-off of a series of activities is also on the program: on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, we will start with a visit to the Wien Museum, where we will learn about the (natural) history of Vienna, in particular the Danube and the Danube Island.
What does the Out4In training offer: Through this training, participants gain valuable knowledge about Vienna’s flora, fauna, and architectural heritage while gaining practical skills like map reading, engaging in nature conservation efforts, and mastering the art of storytelling. These experiences not only equip participants with new abilities but also strengthen their connection to local culture and traditions. The aim is to promote an engagement with the region's heritage and to explore Vienna's nature together!
